But let me ask you something. Can you give me one good reason why Bustamante is not proposing a tax increase for Indian gaming? Considering the fact that other areas of Ca who are in some really dire straights (the wine industry for example) are being taxed an additional 8-10% on top of our already *extremely high* sales tax?

To me, Bustamante seems more of the same. If he was an outsider coming in with fresh ideas I'd probably support him. But where was he in 2001 when it was obvious CA was going off a cliff?

Let me ask you something, what is it about Arnold you really don't like. Is it his campaign rhetoric? What alternative does he have, really. He has to rally that factional republican party. Notice he isn't getting railroaded on his social views, I appreciate that. I have a lot of respect for the guy, he is married to an intelligent woman, I think he will do good things for the state.
