BTW, I asked my banker today and she informed me that I can borrow against my paper gold position at the bank, up to 70% of market value, and at prime+1%. The HKD prime is tied to the USD prime.

You know what I am thinking, go maximum over-weight on paper gold when it corrects to USD 150/oz, borrow against the hoard at USD 100/oz at 6%, buy Canadian energy royalties yielding 12+%, and go on holiday :0)
