Lest you forget, Nadine, Chalabi was inserted into Iraq early on. By all indications, he's a lot more popular with the neocons that he is with the "Iraqi people", at least in conventional reality. I suppose the PNAC people can blame his lack of popularity on State and the CIA, makes as much sense as the rest of the neocon lines on Iraq. It's always all somebody else's fault, you know. The neocons can't be wrong.
