It was news to me, and contrary to the usual reports, therefore of interest. As I understand it, she was (a)not able to remember and (b)now remembers something or other, to be told by a professional liar who was fired by NYT, which has been known to have on staff a few excellent liars. By your comments I take it you are prepared to say what the real story might be, in your estimation? Also, are you saying anything reflecting on how DOD stage-manages media is by definition false? It's a sad canard to attempt to claim any such lies coming out of DOD somehow make soldiers look "good". It's worse, however, to attempt to claim anyone calling DOD on their routine lies is attempting to make soldiers look bad. Such blind worship of DOD is worthy of a dictatorship.
