Hi Jay,
I don't know why Corio was so strong today. As the stock price approaches the book value of the properties its advance should slow. The yield to Dutch investors is high because it is a REIT to them. There is a 25% withholding tax on the dividends for foreigners like us.
There's no fast growth in Corio. Absolutely not. Just a slow increase of earnings and a decent yield. Somehow it doesn't seem to accord with your style. I see it, like gold, as playing the role of protecting assets, not growing them.
The CEO was asked to resign; I suspect the directors thought he was TOO conservative. Maybe there's a rumor about a dynamic new president. Who knows,eh?
Chugs,
Malcolm
