that is one big toy... 200 g's I bet your brain gets squashed to a tiny little ball...

This centrifuge has a payload capacity of as large as 4x4x3 ft and with a mass of 4000 lb. A 684 kW DC electrical motor drives the centrifuge through a right-angle gearbox with a 6.4 to 1 speed reduction. It is capable of accelerating the payload to a maximum of 200g in about 17 minutes. The centrifuge stops by cutting the power from the electric motor. The regenerative braking slows the centrifuge to a fraction of its full speed before it is brought to full stop by four disc brakes mounted on the drive shaft.

Politician's brains seem to be treated in this fashion... no doubt --brain dead. -gg

the quote of 7 to 8 g's on roller coasters was in that Maytag article.... (which do seem excessive for a roller coaster)
