if they had created a law that treated all fairly vs prop 13 which clearly discriminates against the young, the "tax revolt" crowd might have prevailed. You know, maybe cut everyone's taxes evenly? It really takes balls to defend a system where Warren Buffett legally pays 2K property taxes on a 4 million dollar house and my 28-year old employees pay 4x that on a 600K house. And yet the people on the real estate thread try to do just that, defend this age discriminatory law. I wonder if they realize how stupid they look.
