its not really a partisan issue, the new buyers, who are mostly young, the renters etc. want it overturned. Since these are generally younger folks you could say they vote more democratic.

The people benefitting from the law, which are long time residents who by definition are older than the first group, LOVE this law because it screws the young on their behalf. You could say this is partisan because the long time residents are older and that group *tends* to vote repub. But that is a symptom not a cause.

Anyway no matter, this law is blatant age discrimination and its gone. The freeloaders need to move on, hooray.
