sure I am in favor of a flat tax, if it is applied to investment income as well as earned income. In other words every cent you make you pay taxes on. That sounds right. Presumably the rate should be low.

I am not a fan of consumption taxes, unless it is a small augment to the flat income tax. Income being passive and earned income. Are you in favor of that?

BTW I doubt the top 10% of earners are really the wealthiest people. I want the wealthiest people to pay the most tax. Forget this bogus "income" notion that is just baloney.

Jeeze, me too. I paid $105k for this house and it's now valued at $178k. The taxes have gone from $900 to $4k per year. They're out of control.
