<why is the market going up lately?>

it got bored with being flat or down for 3 years?

it wanted to improve upon your already highly elevated state of well being?

why is the market going up lately?

My guess...

This is the set up for the mother of all market crashes.

Anyhow, the economic numbers are saying we are improving
but then the market already told us they would be
improving when it began rising about six months ago.

Even though there are no signs of inflation (according to
the Fed), I notice that my paycheck doesn't stretch nearly
as far. I think they are lying about the numbers and this
house of cards is going to blow over soon.

It's all going to come tumbling down and there is nothing
Shrub can do about it. His irresponsible policies are
going to do him in. It's only nature following it's
natural course. We have a stupid man at the helm because
it was time for a stupid man to be at the helm.

It's all in the waves of nature, dude.

The market is in the end of its colorful autumn of its life
with winter soon to follow.

You want a picture? A road map? Or a timetable perhaps?

Mine looks similar to this guy's...

(You can scroll down about halfway if you don't feel like
doing much reading.)

I stopped trying to time it perfectly.
Instead I bought some '04 and '05 crash puts as insurance
against a terrible economy. I'll need it if it gets that
bad.

But anyhow, I'm not worried. Just sort of planning on what
to do when money gets tighter. How can I help those who
will take this hard? Maybe I'll become a song and dance
man. We can start up a Vaudeville act or something...

Got any idears?
