I've been to the car museum a couple of times. I figured that was your attraction to the IP.

The IP's long-time owner, Ralph Engelstad, who also developed the LV Motor Speedway, died last year. The fate of the IP has been in up in the air since. My guess is that it will be demolished and rebuilt.

Engelstad was quite controversial due to his affinity for Nazi memorabilia and the display he had on the second floor of the hotel. Now that I think about it, he removed it after the controversy started to negatively impact his business.

He also pioneered the "drive-thru sports book." It's hard to despise the guy who came up with that idea!
