Mainly, I was just reading about some religious people and got onto some links regarding Franklin and thought they were pretty serious accusations from people on the inside and were worth sharing with those who might be struggling with the idea of joining a cult. There tends to be a lot of sexual exploitation in cults. Indeed we have one here in Canada right now based in Quebec. You seem to be questioning the credibility of those people who have publicly recounted some of the harm done to them by Franklin and his people. You do not seem like a callous person so I am wondering why you seem unwilling to grant them any credibility? It is my experience that where there is smoke there is fire, and that people do not expose their lives to public scrutiny without cause. I am surprised to find you unwilling to grant even the tiniest credibility to all those accusations of exploitation. Yet you take issue with me for posting information about the cult without first-hand knowledge...as though people ought to be restricted in their comments and arguments to only those events in which they personally participated. That is a rather onerous burden to place upon free thought and opinion..
