Wired routers give you the protection of NAT without the risks of wireless. The one posted a little earlier on the thread looked good. For $38 you're in business.

many people use wireless routers. and many will not touch them because of security issues. maybe it all comes down to what you want to believe or what is most convenient.

i use one of the most widely respected routers available, lauded by many security experts (hello again Steve Gibson) as the best..
