growth in car sales for August resulted in zip profit

GM minus 0.5%
Ford minus 15% (includes Mercury minus 40%)
Daimler Chrysler minus 6%

Nissan plus 14%
Toyota plus 11.4% (Lexus best month ever)

Japanese are starting with some cash incentives
Americans make zero money
revenue story dominates with the numbnut masses

I expect Ford and GM to go bankrupt before long
