Should I publish this "news" on this thread to warn off potential victims? " I think you can appreciate the difference between "hearing someone say" versus court documents accusing certain things and the attendant coverage of the media. It seems to me that such is fair comment. You might also consider the possibility that you are extremely biased when it comes to any question about the credibility or the claims of this man. After all, you have spent 18 years under his sway, and nobody on this thread has failed to notice the inordinate devotion you accord him or the unquestioning power you attribute to his opinions. At least it strikes me as possible that you are not entirely objective in this matter. As someone objectively outside of his ring and sway I can only give you my opinion that something about the whole matter appears phoney. The little things add up: The pychiatric diagnosis of anxiety attacks; the searching for meaning in drugs; the search for meaning in Scientology, the rifle club, the Egoistic claims..and, of course, the allegations. One does not expect these things in God incarnate. You say you have been under his influence for 18 years. Do you deny that he had several wifes--9 or more? Do you deny there were drugs and orgies and sexual requests made on female members? If you honestly can claim for a fact that he did not use women (both unmarried and married) to serve his personal lusts, then I would certainly give this some weight against those who claim otherwise. After all, I do respect your opinion and would never dismiss it out of hand. There are people who do believe they have certain knowledge. I am not of their company...
