I had CHN, got nervous when it went to a high premium over NAV. Bought GCH, another closed end China fund, at a small discount to NAV. Since October looks like CHN has doubled... Other country bets - Japan with EWJ (Japan i-shares)and the Matthews Japan Fund , MJFOX I will be watching the relative performance of various Japan funds with differnt styles, and plan to chase the hot ones....;-) Brazil with BZL, a closed end fund. I had EWA, Austrailia, but sold it a while ago.
