Not being a "conspiracy nut", I find it pretty amazing that the US media isn't jumping all over this. In doing a google search, I find 4 out of 5 articles are from int'l sources. If this gets "traction", uncle al will have to hang some heavy paper over the next couple of weeks to stem the outflow from the funds.

Here's the SEC's take on it (they should have reported it long ago):

"SEC Chairman William Donaldson said: "The conduct alleged in the complaint is reprehensible and there is no place for it in our markets.” He added that Mr Spitzer’s action illustrates the importance of the SEC's review of hedge and mutual funds and its upcoming recommendations regarding improvements and increased disclosure requirements for both."
