Even if GW's granddad was a nazi (and he was not) it wouldn't say much about GW.

Prescott Bush worked for Brown, Brothers Harriman. They had and managed investments all over the world. Once Germany became the enemy then their assets where frozen or seized just like Iran's assets where seized when they too American's hostage, or just like any number of other companies assets where seized in similar situations. That doesn't make Prescott Bush a nazi sympathizer.


It doesn't mean that he was but it doesn't mean he wasn't one either. There were a number of Americans who sympathized with the Germans.
