Clapper,

Boston continues to be a wild sports scene! Bosox are tied for the wild card.......but......the Patriots, in their infinite wisdom, let Lawyer Milloy go because his salary demands exceeded the team salary cap. Here's a guy who:

1. Never missed a game
2. Never missed a practice
3. Is clearly one of the top three leaders on the team
4. Great ambassador for the team
5. Made the pro bowl every year
6. Has been totally loyal to the team
7. One of the smartest, hard hitting defensive backs in
the league
8. Who has been key to the Patriots pass defense.
9. One of the best defensive backs in the league
10. Played when he was hurt

The article mentioned it was a "business decision"....I've consulted to a lot of companies...some of them very good ones....I've never seen the good businesses make a decision like this one!

Buffalo picked him up in a nanosecond once he was released.

That's all for now.

I take special joy in seeing
that team struggle.

Must admit to having an aversion to Skins also. Many years ago, because of where I lived, if I wanted to look at pro football, all I could get was Washington. I lived hundreds of miles away from Washington and was a Unitas to Berry fan (told you this was awhile ago), and kept being force fed Eddie LeBarron.

Thinking about this reminds me of my first TV NFL game. It was won by Lou the Toe. And my first NFL hero was Crazy Legs Hirsh. That’s what we need, more good monikers.

Clap erini cus

But put them in uniform and it
breaks all the rules of peace, love, understanding, and
nature.

..they did have new uniforms......

those guys are the scum that sits at the bottom of the most polluted puddle in DC area.

In Cali, they'd be recognized as an endangered species, and be protected.......

The wife and I watched the whole game. We didn't really have a favorite, but this guy we know on the right coast who likes the Jets and hates(puttn it lightly?)the Skins, kinda swayed us and we found ourselves rootin for the Jets.<g>

.....right up till that last call on 3rd and 1, game on the line, and they called a handoff........DOH!!

"WAS I ROOTIN FOR THEM??? WHAT WAS I THINKIN??"

<g>

It really bugged me the waythe Skins coach kept hiding his face. What was that? Afraid of lip readers? Sheesh, you speak in code anyways.....maybe too many of the enemy knows his code??

Hah!

Good game....who's next?

:o)
