those hucksters who wrote the left behind series are yet another example.

Some people read these books, understood what they did not, before reading the books, and have accepted Jesus as their Saviour. If we all could do the same, the world would be much better. To convince even one person to accept Christ is an accomplishment.

Well I have to agree with you that Hagee like the others you mentioned promotes a fixation on Israel that is more political than anything to do with faith in Jesus. And I am more inclined to agree with what you are saying now than I was a few years ago about Israel.

And it seems that so many of the Christian preachers promote the pre-trib rapture deception that will leave the entire Church open to deception by the anti-christ. For one the Church will expect to be gone when the anti-christ emerges and will be blind sided. There will be signs and wonders so convincing that, if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived. But thank God that's not possible. We hear His voice and follow no other. But many will fall away (the great falling away) and follow the beast and the anti-christ.

I just copied this from Hagee's site. The same pre-trib story.

And just as God set apart His chosen ones by placing Noah and his family into the ark for safe-keeping, He will remove his Church from the seven years of tribulation that will follow the Rapture.
