Longer run:

The Krauts know the protracted conflict against world Islam will bite them in der keister sooner or later, and that the incompetent French can't stop that. They will gradually expand their role in the war, which began with the earlier detachment of German troops to Afghanistan (the first foreign deployment of German troops since 1945).

Re: "Dan, can you really blame Clinton for the budget deficit caused by the Bush tax cuts?"

Can I Really? I haven't so far. Period. I would point out that spending is the No. #1 logical target to attack for spending over and above a budget, followed by lowered receipts due to the Sour Market & the attendant Economy inherited from Clintons time, and lastly the supposed 25% of it caused by tax cuts. Tax cuts simply are not harming the economy, by the by, all indications are that they help it instead(as is always likely when returning money to the masses, in this case fairly, mind you).

You must be harboring a misunderstanding.
