Thanks for the posting.

You don't think the current leaders will find a way to morph into sellers of gear beyond CMOS? My inclination is whatever takes over CMOS will be **very** expensive, and companies like INTC will not want to risk shelling out billions on people making chipmaking gear for the first time.....not to mention I am sure AMAT and KLAC et al will not stand by and watch as someone else does what they do now. Personally, I see AMAT, KLAC being around for a long time until I see something different on the horizon which tells me different. Am curious as to who or what you believe could supplant these companies.

FWIW, although my inclination is to believe AMAT will be around for a long time, I am not married to the idea. I also think it is very important for anyone invested in this sector to have a keen eye for what is waiting around the corner.
