worst energy crisis EVER!

In all fairness that one was George W. Bush's fault. He deregulated the market, opening the door for the pirates of Enron to screw Californian consumers.

Umm... I think you're confused, Al. How do you attribute fault for California's 2000-2001 energy crisis and 1996 utility deregulation to GWB?

alomex, you are confused. gwb wasn't even in office when california deregulated. even if he was, it was a state deregulation, not a federal one.

perhaps you mean pete wilson.

he gets some of the responsibility, too.

but davis shoulda known how easy it was to manipulate the system and shoulda shut it down before the problem occurred.

people were warned in advance - i think sdg&e was big on warning of the potential for manipulation.

he did nothing but promote the guy responsible for the debacle.

he's an idiot.

the refrain "it was gwb's fault" doesn't apply in any way, shape or form.
