It's happening already, slowly, to distract the public. But the big one is coming. It may come from unusual places, like gold. Derivatives is a tiny market in commodities, but the catch is, "things" may require delivery.
I'm sure "commercials" shorts are just from JPM. If that rumor has any truth to it, they "may" have to pay.... 90-100 billion dollars or so. Their market cap is much smaller. Remember Enron? Well, derivatives market is much larger in gold than in energy.
