If looks and height didn't matter, Robert Reich could run for president and maybe win. Smartest guy around. Gephardt has red hair and no eyebrows. Lieberman looks futzy and nebbish like. Dean is shorter than Bush. Edwards looks too pretty. etc. One of the main attack lines from the RNC against Kerry is to target his looks. WHy? because they are afraid of his looks. He has great hair, is very tall and lean and makes Bush looks un-presidential, like a midget. Bush wears make-up all the time and puts on flight jackets and flight suits to look macho. It's pure dress-up. At least when Kerry wears a flight jacket it's actually one he earned the right to wear, and the patches are real, earned by service. FDR was before the age of TV. Very few people ever saw his wheelchair. JFK beat Nixon partly because of his looks.
