Maybe others are saying the same thing, but the reasons I made this my largest holding (COS.UN) are:

1. No problems with reserves; unlimited for the next decade or two.

2. Political safety.

3. Continually decreasing production costs with improving technology and economies of scale.

4. Friendly Provincial government.

5. High and increasing dividend.

6. Operations conducted so as to minimalize environemental damage (at least that's what they claim).

7. Easily tradeable stock, though I do wish they would get themselves a listing in the U. S.
