I went back and checked and see that the Times is now reporting that they did. Rascals article had no link. This story circulated right after 911 and Urban Legends had listed it as wrong. I was going with the info I had from that.

If true, look for this to be used very effectively by the Dems

Here, from another report, we have the statement that they didn't leave the country until after our planes were back in the air. And it is still a confused report about when exactly they were flying in this country. It is very interesting that the same "Clarke" that is reporting their movements in "Vanity Fair" is the source for Miniter's book about Clinton's failure to get Bin Laden.
