Enjoyed your preceding post about the need for the public to become *better* believers again. Interesting work.

Robert Prechter expected back in 2001 a large rally, which would 'correct' the entire decline up to that date. The final nail into the coffin of the Bears would be a new high in the DOW - that would cause a new spike of buying in the NAZ... Maybe Bob was right, but a bit tooearly again. The 62% retracement for the DOW is but a few hundred points away, at 10K.

(I am not a believer that we go to new DOW highs - but the chart action is strong. On Tuesday, the DOW 9500 level was cut through like butter)
