On Minter, he's clearly a fellow of the right well before he is a journalist. Let's look at who the World Journalism Institute is. It has him on its faculty. And what you find is that it's tightly, ever so tightly, linked to something called the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Looks to be evangelical. The ties with other colleges and programs that are listed are precisely the same. So, he's young--college graduate of 1990 and linked tightly with the right wing religious groups. Does he do good journalism? We'll have to wait and see whether this book survives the review process. I don't think Bill's pliant cry that no one has publicly objected yet is any sort of test.
