Well Bill, in actual fact, the Federal government is NOT taking less money from its citizens, tax rate deductions not withstanding ( see spending ).

If I pay $50K into a system like SS IN MY LIFETIME, and then I take out about 5 times that amount in my government insured retirement, AND at the same time I am granted a dividend tax cut on passive income which is the least likely type of income to spur any kind of economic growth... then I would say that-

government taking less money from its citizens "government spending".

So what is your take on the offshoring situation, or more importantly, what is Bush's take since he has spent us into oblivion with these worthless tax cuts?

Anybody really dealing with offshoring can tell the feds that we are in a crisis wrt jobs and they'd better acknowledge it or restructure the tax code in some way, immediately.
