Does anyone know if other than a Qualcomm chipset equipped dual mode handset will be commercially available “ early next year” Hutchison has been selling dual mode handsets for the last six months. They just ordered another 3 million units from Motorola and NEC. Qualcomm may have the best working solution (this definitely remains to be seen)....but they most certainly wont be the only player in the market. Every single other major handset manufacturer should have an offering by early next year. Slacker
