Politics is driven by the economics of the electorate and the elite groups governing a given society. Not the other way around. And the larger and more powerful the economic cycle, the more compelling it's influence will be.

Anyone who doesn't understand that is going to miss the boat on the big picture consistently.

It's all about a LT study of the interplay of economic, social, military, political and yes - even art history to gain an intuitive grasp for the mega trends that emerge in sync with the decline of one civilization vs the rise of another.

I'm gone for the day. It's just isn't worth spending a lot of time debating this with those who simply assert unsupported opinions without even responding to, let alone acknowledging, the body of basic facts and evidence I've been presenting.

In fact the body of evidence I've posted here is voluminous AWA persuasive and stretches back several years on this thread.
