In light of the above, do you feel that 10M WCDMA handset sales in 2004 may be on the light side? Yes....and the recent comments by Docomo that the 505 series will be the last new PDC series provide a real boost to my confidence that 10 million will prove to be too low a target. The rest of the world is much harder to get a handle on....Hutchison hasnt provided any targets for '04. If they continued their current subsidy/tariff policy I could see a pretty big jump in W-CDMA subs in the UK/Italy. However, I think that would prove to be a little too expensive to continue for more than a couple more months. Slacker
