I wish I had learned about COS sooner, but it takes a while to become convinced that you can take a gooey mixture of gravel and tar and really make oil out of it without making a nasty mess at the same time. Also, when OPEC was cutting their own throats a few years ago, the economics didn't look good at all.

I used to like BPT almost as much, but they are going to run dry in not too many more years.
