Which is calling someone blind (to at least a specific thing) and is implying that they are deluded. If they are manipulated and deceived and don't comprehend the reality of the situation then they are deluded (again at least about that one thing). However if it makes you happier I'll rephrase to - Sure it is a big subject, even a collection of reasonably big subjects into one huge subject. However even if you have good reason not to flesh out the details it isn't reasonable to call someone else manipulated and deceived and blind to reality if they disagree when you don't lay out the details.
