Thanks, G. Perhaps learning to spoof is essential to learning how to prevent spoofing. I don't know and may not have time to find out for a while. I hope that Yahoo adopts some of the measures you mentioned to help mitigate the spoofing problem. I feel somewhat guilty that I haven't followed up with their request for more info, but I am somewhat reluctant to send them my photo ID.

If the spoofing problem gets really bad, I will try switching over to hotmail or another mail provider. Or perhaps spoof mitigation is a feature that Yahoo incorporates into their upgraded mail packages. I'll ask around. The problem sounds like a tailor-made opportunity for these mail service providers to differentiate their services from the other mail providers. At least I hope they see it that way.
