well, it used to be you could make a blanket statement that Cisco's products were not carrier class, but they have turned that around some.

I like Sonus and a lot of vendors that sell to carriers, I think that sector is going to come back.

I spend at least 2 hours a day on netmeetings or live meetings to india, and we don't have enough bandwidth. We have to dial a separate phone link for voice and use the web for visual, which is not ideal. And our visual keeps locking up. Maybe it is just the overseas connectivity, I don't know. The companies I work with are becoming more and more global. Worldcom must be providing all this, or one of the other carriers. Carrier business will pick up soon.

Of course as we can see from the jobs report today this globalization has dire consequences, hopefully we can handle it.
