It is obvious that the Bush cronies are beholden to the drug companies and for that, the US taxpayer will pay. You know, Lizzie, I'm actually quite sympathetic to your generational conflict stance, but when the day comes that you're rolling around in your wheelchair, guzzling Geritol and popping prescription pills like candy in order to stay alive, your perspective might change a bit. I don't begrudge the drug companies one penny of their profits. Do you have a clue as to how much money it costs to develop any useful new medicine and how tough it is to get it through the bureaucratic FDA approval system??
