But on the other hand, one can trace it back to the catch-22 of two-party systems, Gulliver's Travels, Orwell and dysfunctional medias.

UK, who lifted the (inofficial) ban on the debate for almost two years, just to quickly re-introduce it officially, went through some of the aspects back in 1996-7

However, as so many senior leaders sometimes say "it has served USA well" (usually refering to how the civil rights were implemented)

That is, back to LBJ and Nixon, but maybe not (really) Jim Crow??
