Yes, one of Friedman's better pieces. It does however ignore one piece of the wall argument. There is the settler-other Israeli argument about where the Wall goes, which he mentions. Then there is the Israeli punish-terrorism argument, which he does not. It is an unannouced, but clearly deliberate policy, to punish Palestinian terrorism slowly by surely with the loss of land, one thing they really fear.
