Hello Vaughn. I like the tone of what you are explaining, though I'm not sure I get it. In laymans terms, are we suggesting CMD may be looking at major new gold discovery? If so, any idea as to whether they have a promising chance at proving up a minable resource?

Have you seen this, from their web site?

There is no reference to SVB on their site - care to help me with that one?

When Red gets out of the woods, he may well be all over this one! :)

Here's a copy from their site summarizing what I think you are discussing:

"The Qimmiq Project covers 120,000 acres of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. leases on central Baffin Island. On the Malrok gold prospect within Qimmiq, a gold discovery contained in iron formation was made in August 2003. Channel and chip samples have assayed as high as 6.87 ounces gold per ton. Of 27 initial samples, 7 assays exceeded 0.32 ounces gold per ton. The host iron formation has been traced on surface over 3,300 feet (1000 metres). More than 700 samples have been submitted for assaying.

Plans for 2004 will include drilling. The company is also exploring on permits adjoining Qimmiq. Total acreage under option exceeds 1.8 million acres with prospective formations extending over 60 miles (100 km) in an east-west direction."
