The whole government is rotten and needs to be dismantled and rebuilt by a new Party. The Democrats and Republicans have to go the way of the dinosaurs if we are to save our country now.

No, I don't think getting a Democrat in office is any sort of panacea. In fact, if you check the historical record on this thread by doing a search on the word "Democrat" you'll see that I made that exact arguement that you just made to Raymond Duray about a month ago. He found it very distressing.

The Democracts are a different wing of the same ultra-corrupt bird known as our government. Especially in recent years, the Dems haven't played the role of the loyal opposition the way that they should be playing it. Our government has certainly gotten way out of hand in recent years. For all Clintons foibles and faults, I'd rather have a lying dufous like Clinton in the White House than an ultra-secretive administration like the Bush White House. What we need is more sunshine in our political process and the Republicans certainly aren't giving us that at all. They're turing the U.S. into a quasi-facist state with all the secrecy and propaganda that goes along with it.
