jim,
I know you are much wiser than myself so don't take this wrong but have you not been nervous or lightly invested or bearish all the way up this past few months as the mining shares have made their steady climb?

Lots of QUadruple tops ... I think the previous comments about a liquidity mop up are correct - I moved to tighter stops on my Silver issues (mainly HL) and I'm cutting my exposure to miners right now....

Copper - most people in the US think of Phelps Dodge when they think of Copper. Insitutional favorite. I just sold mine since it looks like it was getting some resistance near $50. Like Anadarko APC and Apache APA was for Natural gas, big funds lumbering into even a big stock will move it , and often move it first...liquid and marginable too.

Miners have move up very fast since July, and might have a nasty snap-back here...
