what book from Princeton? do you mean "The New Financial Order" by Shiller? i haven't read this book but it sounds kind of strange... amazon.com
[edit: based on the reviews of Shiller's latest posted at Amazon, i think you must be talking about a different book. Shiller's book sounds like some bizarre hybrid of Kafka and Marx, with a Sci Fi twist.]
i will probably read this book, but like most books on economics, i am more impressed by analysis of existing problems than pie-in-the-sky proposals for fixing the problems. a recent case in point is Duncan's book on the dollar, which provided excellent critique but concluded with a lala-land idea of a global minimum wage. he should have mandated world peace while he was at it.
