The invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with the so-called war on terrorism. But the idiot shrub's invasion of Iraq DID create an environment for an increase of terrorism.
You think the terrorists are being "slaughtered"?
So far it's been nearly 10,000 Iraqi civilians slaughtered, thanks to shrub's invasion.

RE: >>"No, terrorists cause terrorism, in Iraq and anywhere, not Pres. Bush."<<

If you really believe that then ask yourself what you would do if you lost your wife, son, daughter, father, sister, mother, or all of them, to a foreign invasion and occupation force that tended to shoot first and ask questions later?

What if you were deeply religious with a faith that was "old testament" in terms of revenge and the use of deadly force against "infidels?"

Take a look at the number of "incidental" deaths of men, women and children in Iraq and count the number of millions of deeply indoctrinated Muslims there. Now think about the number of deeply political and fundamentalist Muslim sympathisers in the Arab region.

Now don't you think that maybe, just maybe, we've "created" a few terrorists by our invasion and occupation of Iraq?

We're not the only "sleeping giant" on the planet.
