Capacity utilization at the leading edge has reached 94 percent Maybe. That means nothing though. The trailing edge technologies are usually just as important as the leading edge technologies. Unless it really is a single chip solution (incl power supply?). In fact it's usually there where all the pricing power is. Some BOM needs some mundane part that nobody makes any more, and the remaining company that does, charges like the Light Brigade for it. -g- Typically, when the consolidations have occurred in the past, the slashings and BK's occur across the board of all the technologies. Thats what will happen again imho. Meanwhile things are pointed skywards according to the newspapers...
