So, in all your studies, can you tell us how and when (I realize no one knows, but best theory) the end of the age will come? one interesting theory (the 7,000 year theory) is based on bishop usher's chronology, which dates creation at approximately 4,004 B.C. according to this chronological timeline (adding up the ages of everyone listed in the bible from adam on down), abraham was born exactly 2,000 years after creation, around 2,004 B.C. Another two thousand years later, Christ was born 4 B.C. (i know it souns strange to say Jesus was born 4 years before his birth, but it appears that the man who came up with B.C. made a mistake and Christ was actually born almost 4 year earlier. the original basis is so universal now that no one will bother to try to correct it.) based upon his timeline you have: creation 4,004 B.C. (2,000 year age of the patriarchs) abraham 2,004 B.C. (2,000 year age of the israelites/jews) Jesus 4 B.C. (2,000 year age of Christ and the Church) some people believe there would be another 2,000 years until his second coming, which would place it real soon. if you subscribe to usher's chronology the earth would be about 6,000 years old presently. this would be important because of all the references in the bible to the sabbath, with work for six and rest on the seventh. this is not just in reference to work six days, rest on the seventh. the hebrews were allowed to keep servants six years, but were told to release them on the seventh. the israelites were to farm six years and then on the seventh let the soil recover. Jesus said he is the sower and the word is the seed. how does Jesus describe his second coming in revelation 14? 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 14:16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. of course you are aware of the 1,000 year reign with Christ at his second coming. obviously this would represent the 1,000 year sabbath after Christ's work on earth for the past 6,000 years. only a theory. test this theory with your knowledge of scripture and pray to Jesus for the Holy Spirit to give you revelation. If we take Israel as Israel out of the typical end-time prophecies and substitute Christians or the new Jews, how do you see everything playing out before Christ returns? I am truly interested in your take on this. Who is deceived and how? What is the USA role, if any? What about Europe? Satan's plans? Rapture? Armageddon? Currency? Mark of the Beast? Persecution of Christians? Israel the current nation? Thanks. i think this is too many questions to address in one post! perhaps we could take some one at a time.
