As I remember... RF filters for cell base stations based on superconductor technology. Keeps the signal clean resulting in more capacity per station and fewer dropped calls.

Superconductor Technologies Inc. develops, manufactures and markets products made from superconductor materials and related cryogenics. For the 6 months ended 6/28/03, revenues increased 76% to $18.8M. Net loss applic. to Com. decreased 12% to $11.4M. Results reflect higher sales of SuperFilter products and a shift in product mix toward higher-priced SIX-Pak Units, partially offset by higher contract research and development expenses.
