NO, there have been one million jobs lost since the end of the recession in November of 2001. Actually, there have been about 2.7 million jobs lost since Bush took office.

You asked how many jobs had been created, not how many jobs had been lost. The unemployment rate gives an idea about the difference between lost and created.

And the unemployment rate at 6.1% seems to be showing job creation is picking up.

No the net figure is about 3.6 million jobs lost since jr rode into town.
