So, LB, do you support the $20 billion reconstruction aid for Iraq? It seems it's about the same amount I advocated months ago. You were adamantly against it then. I am guessing you are now all for it :-)

Here come the Dems! Dean is "over the line," IMO.

Not even close. Good, healthy criticism. Genuine political debate. Which is precisely what needs to be done. Attempts to suppress political speech undermine democracy. All this Rumsfeld talk about critics hurting the war against terror is profoundly wrong headed.

Dems worse nightmare is iraq turning out well for the United States. In any other time in our history did one party root against the obvious interests of the US. I am not talking about policy here--just about the interest that all americans have in somehow getting to a stable free non-terrorist, non baathist iraq. Of course the dems will say they are for all these things but it holds true only for Lieberman who has separated difference of policy with bush from a common objective. Mike

Dean is "over the line," IMO.

The Bush Administration's two most egregious trespasses, the Patriot Act and the forcing of the timetable on the Iraq invasion before the post-war plans were ready, happened in part because there was little or no Opposition.

Had the Dems found their collective spine in time to at least force a heartier debate on both, we would be freer and safer today, IMO.

Mr. Obey, the ranking Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, said Mr. Bush's speech amounted to "an admission of gross miscalculation" by the White House.

These guys have zero vision and provide no leadership...They just bitch.

Here on his home page, you find 5 dissenting views and nothing else.

"We've been misled," Mr. Kerry said. "We have not been told the truth, and we deserve a president of the United States who knows the meaning of the words `last resort' and tells the American people the truth."

Here is Kerry's homepage. Again just bitchin, zero leadership.
I do like the third item...I bet Kerry is an expert on how to get military medals.
